You Don't Have to Say It Back

The title's random. I'm watching an ep of Boston Legal right now, via the amazing TV Links. Of course this is all pretty useless information without the context of where I am and what's going on and why I've been absent for the past two months or so. OK wow, actually exactly 2 months, in fact. Huzzah for the coincidence. A black cat also crossed my path today. I love cats.

Anyway, I finished my stay in the UK the first week of August and ran off to China. Turns out I should have posted about my sojourn before I left. I had forgotten that Blogger and half the internet is censored in China so I was unable to access not only this blog, but most of the blogs I generally read daily. I could go on about the political situation in China and the nature of government censorship on the whole, but this is a weight loss/fitness/health blog, so--

Summer Evaluation: Lost weight for the first half of July, while getting adjusted to my surroundings in England. Gained weight rapidly after I settled in and discovered kebab vans. Got to Shanghai early August, started taking dance lessons (whee!), started eating better although, importantly, not less...and lost weight. Although I only got down to 156 at my lowest in China. Found my way back to home a week ago and I'm holding steady at 158-159, even with the discovering of a two foot long box of chocolates. Oops!

So class is starting soon and here's the plan for now. I've decided to go back to not eating red meat and eating vegetarian as much as possible, although that isn't so much for weight loss as for my own conscience. I have the university gym membership again, and I plan to go regularly as I did last year. Also, a friend and I are looking into taking a dance class together. Overall, the plan is the shocking Eat less, Eat healthy, and Exercise!

See you all tomorrow! And by tomorrow I mean once I get through reading two months of everyone's blog entries.
